Today is called the present...

​Recently I heard someone ask, "Do you know why they call today the present?"  As soon as they asked the question, my curiosity was piqued.  Then they said, "Because it is a Gift." 

Ever since I heard that, I have been thinking about it.  I have been letting it sink in..... I mean really sink in.  Today is a gift.... What did I do with this precious gift that God has given me?   Did I share the Gospel message with anyone who needed to hear it?  Did I smile at someone, who really just needed to see a friendly face today?  Did I say some kind words to someone who needed some encouragement?  What did I do?  What did I not do?
